LOCATION: Hart Cemetery is located southeast of Mountain Home. From the center of Mountain Home take Hwy 5 south approximately 5.3 miles to the intersection of CR 69. Travel southeast on CR 69 approximately 800 feet and the overgrown cemetery is on the south side of the road. On the other side of the roadway fence it is an open field with one portion fenced in.
Alley and Bluff Springs Cemeteries were relocated to the Hart cemetery during the construction of Norfork Dam by the Army Corps of Engineers.
NOTE: The USGS TOPO map shows this as Heart Cemetery near Heart Bald land feature.

CONDITION: This cemetery is completely overgrown with weeds chest high. Some stones are broken and laying on the ground. The cemetery is located in an open field with one portion approximately 30’ x 30’ fenced.
AGE: Oldest readable stone during the 1968 inventory was 1874. Most recent is 1978.
