Lower Oakland Cemetery is located in Mountain Home southeast of the Lowes and Home depot complexes. Take the Lowes / Home depot exit off of highway 62 and drive 700’ between the two complexes to CR 390. Turn right on CR 390 and follow the road around the bend approximately ½ mile to the Lower Oakland Cemetery on the right.

“Of Grave Importance” The Cemeteries of Baxter County , The Baxter County Historical Society 1994
CONDITION: This cemetery is well maintained and has numerous signs listing numbers to contact for services and donations.
AGE: Oldest readable stone during the 1994 inventory was late 1889.. This is an active cemetery.
