Raymond Lee "PaPa" Beecham, 85, of Greenwood died Friday, Nov. 26, 2004, in a local hospital. He was born March 23, 1919, in Lexington, Tenn. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II, a retired machinist and a member of the First Baptist Church in Greenwood.

Mr. Beecham was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Miranda Beecham; one brother, George; and four sisters, Beulah Pendergraft, Eula Martin, Marie Gilliam and Alta Wagner.
He is survived by his wife, Derema Beecham of the home; two daughters, Darlene and husband Carl Grandstaff and Jeannine Walker of Greenwood; a brother, Ed Beecham of Eurich, Mo.; four grandchildren, Richy and T. Ray Grandstaff, Scott Walker and Karen Aspinwall; and seven great-grandchildren, Kristin and Will Grandstaff, Tanner, Molly, Maggy and Landry Grandstaff and Cody Smith. PaPa loved to walk and garden and took care of all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was held on Monday, November 29, 2004, at the McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, Arkansas. He was laid to rest at Dawson Cemetery in Milltown, Arkansas, under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
Pallbearers will be Richy and Will Grandstaff, T. Ray Grandstaff, Scott Walker, Chris Aspinwall, Gary Gilliam and Paul Goldsmith.

Ms. Cecil D. Beecham, of Greenwood, Arkansas, died 02/22/2012 at Pink Bud Nursing Home in Greenwood, Arkansas. Ms. Beechman was 91 years, 2 months, and 25 days old. She was the d/o the late Cecil and Lola (Elmore)Gilliam.

Ms. Beecham was a retired Greenwood School employee, where she worked faithfully for 22 years in the food service department. She was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Greenwood.

Ms. Beecham was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Raymond Lee Beecham; 1 brother and sister-in-law: Darrell and Marie Gilliam; 1 brother-in-law: Buddy Goldsmith; another brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: George and Pauline Beechman and Lloyd and Eula Martin, Theo and Alta Wagoner, and Luther and Beulah Pendergraph.
She is survived by two daughters, Darlene Grandstaff Whitham and her husband, Lloyd and Jeannie Beecham Walker all of Greenwood; a sister, DeLois Goldsmith of Greenwood; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Ida and Ed Beecham of Urich, Missouri; grandchildren, Richy Grandstaff and wife, Michelle of Greenwood, T. Ray Grandstaff and wife, Stacey of Fort Smith, Scott Walker and wife, Micki, Karen Aspinwall and husband, Chris all Greenwood; great grandchildren, Kristin Grandstaff Guinn and husband, Jake of Frisco, TX, Will Grandstaff and fiancé Rusti Green of Conway, AR, Tanner, Molly, Maggy and Landry Grandstaff, Cody Smith, Maddi Worsham, Marzie Walker; great great grandchildren, Kinsey Rylan and Dax Ryder Guinn of Frisco, Texas; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Funeral service was held on Saturday afternoon, February 25, 2012, at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, Arkansas. Rev. Ronnie Deal and grandson, T. Ray Grandstaff officiated the services.
Ms. Beecham was laid to rest alongside her beloved husband, at Dawson Cemetery in Milltown, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were: Richy Grandstaff, Scott Walker, Will Grandstaff, Christ Aspinwall, Jake Guinn, and Paul David Goldsmith.
Honorary pallbearers were: Tanner Grandstaff, Cody Smith and Landry Grandstaff.
