Edwin A. Beaver, 85, of Chidester, died early today at the local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Proctor's Chapel. Burial will follow in Holleman Cemetery under the direction of Proctor's Funeral Home. Mr. Beaver was a Methodist and a retired farmer. He was a life-long resident of Chidester. He is survived by five sons, Ellis Beaver and Thurman Beaver of Chidester; Joe Beaver, E. J. Beaver, and Ted Beaver all of Camden; one brother, Connie Beaver of Camden; 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. (Camden News - June 14, 1974)
