Smithville-Lorene Nunnally Spades, 87 died Wednesday at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro. She was born February 1, 1924 in Lynn to Lawrence and Lula Sanders Nunnally. She was a resident of Lawrence County most of her life, was a homemaker and a store clerk at Sheila's Quick Shop in Lynn. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by husband, “Speedy” Spades; son, Richard “Dick” Spades and four brothers, Austin, Bill, Alfred and Devoe Nunnally.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Kelly of Paragould; sons, Dan Spades, Lynn, Joe Spades , Doniphan, Mo and John Spades, Jensen Beach, FL; daughter-in-law, Shirley Spades of Cherry Valley; Illinois; 12 grandchildren;18 great-grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be Friday, 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Lynn with Terrell Neely officiating . Burial will follow in Old Lebanon Cemetery under the direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home of Lynn.

Visitation is Thursday, 6-8 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church in Lynn.
