Obituary
Hearsel Acklin, 67, of Norfork died Friday (Nov 8, 1991) at Baxter County Regional Hospital.
Graveside services will be today at 2PM at the Burnt School House Cemetery with the Bro. James Howard officiating. Visitation was Sunday at Roller Funeral Home.
Mr. Acklin, a lifelong Norfork resident, was born on March 16, 1924, in Culp. He was a farmer. Mr. Acklin Married the former Arthie Mead on Nov 19, 1943, in Culp. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Arthie Acklin of the home; three sons, Lonnie Acklin, Louie Acklin and Terry Acklin all of Norfork; a daughter, Bonnie Harber of Kansas City, MO; four brothers, Griffie Acklin of Yates Center, KS, George Acklin of Gassville and Dewey and John Acklin both of Calico Rock; four sisters, Maudie Hopkins of Helena, Lucille Pactirck of Newnata, Flora Hurst of Peel and Nora Simmerman of Norfork; six grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by both parents, Dora and Ethel Berry Acklin and three brothers.
