Obit* Elza Davis of Oreana, Ill. died June 4, in Oreana at the age of 62 years. He was born July 20, 1911 in Sharp County, Arkansas, son of the late E. R. and Mary Jane Rogers Davis. He was united in marriage in 1935 to Amy Hooper at Williford, Ark. Mr. Davis was a member of the Re-Organized Church of Jesus Christ, of Latter Day Saints.
He is survived by: his wife, Amy of the home; two sons, Don Davis of Decatur, Ill and Frank Davis, also of Decatur, one daughter Mrs. Jannelle Jackson of Bement, Illinois; one brother, Floyd A. Davis of Hardy, Arkansas; three sisters, Mrs. Ethel Crabtree of Rockford, Illinois, Mrs. Ida Zeiger of Hardy, Arkansas, and Mrs. Ema Nell Winer of Chicago, Illinois; 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and other relatives. Funeral service were held Sunday, June 9, 1974 at 2 PM in the Higginbotham's Chapel in Hardy. Burial was in Walker Cemetery
