Mrs. Bertina Marselle Shipley, 49, of Midway died Monday at Baxter General Hospital. She was the wife of Homer Shipley.
Mrs. Shipley was born May 18, 1925, at Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Manuel West and Bertha Washburn West. She was married to Mr. Shipley on June 6, 1957 at Sedalia, MO. She was a housewife and had resided in this county for about six months.
Survivors, in additon to her husband at home, include two sons, Leroy Jones of Kansas City, MO and Daniel Shipley of Midway; two daughters, Shirley Christine Shipley and Linda May Talburt; three brothers, Maunel West of Arizona, John C. West of San Diego, CA and D.W. West of Colorado; two sisters, Flora Mae Condit of Kansas City and Wanda Jean of Missouri; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at Roller Chapel. Rev. Charles R. Bryant, pastor of the Mt Home Assembly of God Church will officiate. Interment will be in Galatia Cemetery near Norfork under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
