Billie Jane Riggs, 74, of Chester died Tuesday, April 7, 2009, in Van Buren. She was a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church and AARP, retired from accounts receivable department at Gerber and the widow John Riggs.
Funeral will be 1 p.m. today at Fentress Mortuary Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Roselawn Cemetery.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Loftin of Chester; two sisters, Shirley Combs of Fort Smith and Joy Kuykendall of Bentonville; a brother, Sam Jeffcoat of Fort Smith; and one grandchild.
