Edith Moore, 99, of Fort Smith died Thursday, March 15, 2001, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a retired server at Crain Cafeteria. She attended both Second Presbyterian Church and Grand Avenue Baptist Church. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Smith with burial at Roselawn cemetery in Fort Smith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Denton C. "Dinty" Moore. She is survived by a daughter, Betty Gilson and son-in-law, Sam Gilson of Fort Smith; a son, Jimmy Moore and daughter-in-law, Wanda Moore of Fort Smith; three grandchildren, Michael Moore, Patrick Moore and Kelly Moore; and seven great-grandchildren.
