Jessie Isabelle Arnold Brewer, 81, died Saturday, September 4, 2004. She was born in Watts, Oklahoma, on October 6, 1922, to Virgil and Mary "Polly" Arnold.

She is survived by her husband, three daughters, her sister, and 11 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Ross Arnold.

She graduated from Fort Smith High School and attended both Fort Smith Junior College and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. Isabelle married Ken Brewer in 1944 and moved to Little Rock in 1952. Her husband worked for Westinghouse until 1968, when he and Isabelle founded H.K. Brewer Electric. Isabelle served as secretary/treasurer for the company until it was sold in 1987. Isabelle enjoyed traveling, reading, dancing, tending flowers, bird watching and cooking.

She was devoted to her friends, and she enjoyed belonging to her Sunday School class, the Delphi Club, her sewing circle and garden club. Most of all she loved caring for her three daughters, their children and her husband. She was known by family and friends for her kindness and generosity. Her presence will be sorely missed and long remembered.

A memorial service was held at Pulaski Heights United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Private interment was held at Roselawn Cemetery in Fort Smith.
