John Quince Brewer, 76, of Fort Smith died Tuesday in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired owner of Mutual Molding and Lumber Co., in Los Angeles and a member of Cavanaugh Baptist Church and Woodmen of the World. Funeral will be 10:30 A.M. Friday in Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Chapel with burial at Roselawn Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Myrtle; a son, Jim of Fort Smith; two sisters, Melba Jane Griffith of Kinta, Oklahoma, and Velma Ingram of Norwalk, California; three brothers, Fay of Fort Smith, Hal of Van Buren and Doy of Mountebello, California, and a half brother Jimmy of Los Angeles. Pallbearers will be Harold Griffin, Everett O'Neal, Jimmy Lloyd, "Buck" Summers, Winford Knowles and Kenneth E. Brown.
