LAVACA — Erma Jones, 68, of Lavaca died Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2001, in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a retired employee of Area Agency on Aging. Funeral will be 10 a.m. Friday in Lewis Funeral Chapel in Lavaca with burial at Oak Valley Cemetery in Lavaca. She is survived by her husband, Jim; two sons, Randall Preston Jones of Lavaca and James Edwin Jones Jr. of Charleston; foster mother of Jeff Andrews; four grandchildren, Jamie, Stacey, Shelby and Shane Jones and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Jamie Jones, Paul Etzkorn, James Snow, Robert Cook, Jeff Andrews and Chuck Fawcett. The family will visit with friends from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
