Charles L. Rogers 89, of El Dorado, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017, at CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs, AR. He was born July 22, 1927, to John Gilbert and Eunice Beasley Rogers in El Dorado, AR.

He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and was an oil producer.

Preceding him in death are his parents; his first wife, Dorlis Giles Rogers; and his second wife, Doris Starling Rogers; his third wife, Marie Sturgis Rogers; his sister, Forest Rogers Allen; his brother, Dwight Rogers; his sister Virginia Rogers Ratcliff.

Survivors include his son, John C. Rogers (Tinka) of Hot Springs Village; daughter, Teresa “Terry” Ralston (Jim) of Hot Springs Village; sister, Pauline Rogers Cullins of Georgia; and three step-children, Sherian Smith (Danny) of El Dorado, Tommy Davidson of Granville, TX, Teena Harsh of Wichita, KS; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held noon until service time Thursday, March 2, 2017, at Young’s.

A graveside service will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens at 2:00 p.m. Thursday with Rev. Jim Bolding officiating, under the direction of Young’s Funeral Directors.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 419 S. Madison, El Dorado, AR 71730, or to Arkansas Children’s Hospital, 1 Children’s Way, Little Rock, AR 72202.
