July 2, 1879 - October 6, 1966
Mrs. Kate May Stott Cross, aged 87 of Camden Route 1 died in the Ouachita Hospital at 1:45 p.m. Thursday. Mrs. Cross was a lifelong resident of Ouachita County. She was a member of the Two Bayou Methodist Church, and the Kate Steel Bible Class. She is survived by two sons, Homar Cross, and Loy Cross both of Camden; one daughter, Mrs. W. W. Wright of Pine Bluff; one brother Fred Stott of Camden; six grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Proctor Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in the Two Bayou Cemetery. (Camden News - October 7, 1966)
