October 7, 1943 - March 30, 2015
Sharon Kay Smith, 71 of Dover, departed this life Monday, March 30, 2015 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, surrounded by her family.
She was born October 7, 1943 in Paris, Arkansas Virgil and Ila Mabeline Doom Stewart.
She was CNA and enjoyed taking care of people.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Smith; one son, Henry Little of Conway; one step-son, Jeffery Smith and wife Misty of Dover; four daughters, Sandy Roche of Arizona, Mary Proctor and husband Tandy of Clarksville, Helen Nelson of Arizona, Judy Nelson of Arizona; two step-daughters, Shiela Wellwood of Dover, Melissa Kent and husband Michael of Dover; four brothers, Larry Sanders and wife Susan of Clarksville, Gary Sanders and wife Kristy of Ozark, Tommy Sanders of Minnesota, Keith Sanders of Hartman; one sister, Darlene McIntyre of Mulberry; 21 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Broussard Funeral Home Chapel officiated by the Rev. Harold Smith.
Burial will be in McFadden Cemetery at Dover under the direction of Broussard Funeral Home of Russellville.
