Rev. James Dean “Bubba� Davis, 51, of Beebe, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord Sunday, May 2, 2010. James had worked for Valued Services for several years before being promoted to District Manager. James was an outgoing Christian man who loved helping others. He was a member of the Calvary Pentecostal Church of God and served as a Deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, member of the Church Board, Kingsmen Leader and Lay Minister. He was considered by his pastor as his “right hand man�. He is survived by his wife, Judy; one son, James Garon Davis and a host of foster children; his mother, Vada Davis; three brothers, Bobby Joe Davis of Oklahoma City, Vernon Ray Davis of Finley, Tennessee and Jimmy Davis of Texas; and five sisters, Faye Vincent , Linda Stewart, Doris McClish, Ruth Sweetie Finch, all of Beebe, Jeanice Weatherley of McRae; and a host of other family and church family. He was preceded in death by one brother, Bruce, infant daughter Hanna Renee and father, Virgil Davis. Family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Westbrook Funeral Home, Beebe. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at Westbrook Funeral Home, with burial in Stoney Point Cemetery.
