OBIT
William Erwin Blackmon, age 90, of Jacksonville, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020. He was born June 18, 1930 in Selma, Alabama to the late William and Maggie Blackmon. William served 23 years in the United States Air Force and also worked at the United States Postal Service as a mail handler for 20 years. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Ann Blackmon.

Survivors include his sons, Michael (Gail) Blackmon and William “Greg” (Ana) Blackmon; daughter, Pamela (Rob) Allison; nine beloved grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Chapel Hill Memorial Park in Jacksonville with Pastor David O’Dell officiating. Visitation will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home, (501) 982-2136.

Ethan Blackmon, age 28, of Jacksonville passed away, Thursday, December 17, 2020. He was born June 10, 1992 in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Ethan loved life, sunshine, and the outdoors. He constantly searched for adventure. Ethan was very much loved by his family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William and Beverly Blackmon.

Survivors include his parents, Greg and Ana Blackmon; brothers, Zach Blackmon and Jacob Blackmon; and sister, Sarah Blackmon.

A private service was held at Chapel Hill Memorial Park, where Ethan was laid to rest alongside his beloved grandparents. Arrangements by Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home. (501) 982-2136.
