Raymond Harold Brown, 91, passed away on March 6, 2010 at his residence in Camden. He served in the Armed Forces for three years in the China, Burma, and India areas. Afterward, he worked for International Paper Company and later retired from the United States Postal Service. He was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Camden. Mr. Brown was preceded in death by his parents, William Coulter and Noma Paul Brown; one brother; and one sister. He is survived by his wife of nearly sixty-nine years, Lois Threadgill Brown; a daughter, Myra Brown Harris and her husband, Rod; two grandchildren and their spouses; and four great-grandchildren.

Interment will be Monday, March 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery followed by services at the First Presbyterian Church of Camden at 11:00. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, March 7, 2010 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The family extends their special thanks to caregivers Earnestine Carroll, Inez Graham and Bobbie Owens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the First Presbyterian Church of Camden, 313 Greening Street, Camden, AR 71701 or Doctors Home Care and Hospice of Camden, 726 California, Camden, AR 71701.
