When THOMAS CLARENCE ADAMS was born on August 1, 1897, in Mayflower, Arkansas, his father, JAMES, was 28 and his mother, SARAH, was 29. He married NORMA JEWELL DUKE on September 26, 1914, in his hometown. They had five children during their marriage. He died as a young father on August 20, 1924, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, at the age of 27.
