Mrs. Effie Mitchell Jones, 91, of Conway died Thursday (Nov. 15, 2001.)
Born Nov. 11, 1910, in the Barney community, a daughter of George W. and Cenia Robinson Mitchell, she was a shoe factory worker and a member of the Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rural Jones; three brothers, Glenn Mitchell, Leaster Mitchell and Fay Mitchell; three sisters, Minnie Smith, Ray Mitchell and Hazel Thurman.
She is survived by one sister, Irma Taylor of Conway; and one brother, George W. "Dub" Mitchell of Conway.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Oak Grove Cemetery with Rev. Danny Fagala officiating.
Arrangements are by Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway.
Visitation was Saturday.
