Obituary
Mora Kathryn Allen, 84, of Heber Springs, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2003. She was born November 4, 1918, in Manila, Arkansas, to James Andrew and Virgie Mae (Counts) Parker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Hall Pickett and Lloyd "Dick" Allen, and a sister, Gladys French. She had lived in Heber Springs for 23 years, having moved here from El Cajon, California. Mrs. Allen was a retired restaurant owner. Her religious belief was Baptist.
She leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Charles E. Smith of Heber Springs, AR two grandchildren, Kathryn Burton and Charles Smith, Jr. four great grandchildren, Stephanie Burton, Ralph Burton, Jr., Jeanie Burton, and Charles Burton a sister and nephew, Dorothy Huskey and her son Troy, both of Golden Valley, Arizona. She also leaves other nieces and nephews and her many friends.
