SONORA — Retha Jean Nelson, 75, of Sonora died July 4, 2008, at Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale.
She was born April 13, 1933, in Stroud, Okla., to Troy and Lelah Wisdom Withrow.
She was a member of Sonora Baptist Church and a retired secretary from Fayetteville Orthopedic Clinic.
She is survived by her husband, Bob Nelson, of the home; three daughters, Debbie Elder of Boliver, Mo., Brenda Johnson and Pamela Osberg, both of Tampa, Fla.; two stepdaughters, Tammy Cole of Fort Worth, Texas, and Barbara Venegas of Springdale; a brother, Wayne Withrow of Fayetteville; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Sonora Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Williams officiating.
Services are under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
