BRENTWOOD — Betty Jane Carroll, 89, of Brentwood, Ark., passed away Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born Sept. 18, 1921, in Grand Rapids, Mich., to Paul Elliott and Anna Bel (Guthrie) Elliott.

She was a homemaker, a member of the Brentwood Seventh-day Adventist Church, Winslow Home Extension Club, and was active in the Community Service Center in Brentwood.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Archie Dudley Carroll.

She is survived by three sons, Brent Carroll of Menlo Park, Calif., Brad Carroll and Bryan Carroll, both of Brentwood; one sister, Mary Esther Boden of Orlando. Fla.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 5, 2011, at The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Brentwood, with Pastor Larry Smith officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Brentwood Seventh-day Adventist Church; or, Circle of Life Hospice.
