GASSOWAY, Anna BRUNSKOG - Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Brunskog Gassoway, 45, were held at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Brunskog, in Rogers on Monday afternoon following her death there early Sunday morning. Her husband, Fred K. Gassoway, died a week ago at a government hospital at Hines, Ill. and was buried in the National Cemetery at Fayetteville Wednesday last week. Her death resulted from a nervous collapse following immediately after the death of her husband. She never rallied. Burial was made in the City Cemetery in Bentonville following the services at Rogers. Besides her parents she is survived by a son, Kinton Carl, aged 3, a daughter, Mae, aged 5; a brother, Carl Brunskog, of Rogers and two sisters, Miss Eva Brunskog of the home and Mrs. R.W. Holmes of Nowata, Okla. Mrs. Gassoway was well known in Bentonville, her parents having lived here about 20 years. The Brunskogs moved to Rogers about 12 years ago. Mr. Gassoway was 37 years of age and a member of the Rogers post, American Legion, which had charge of his funeral services. Mr. Gassoway is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mae Gassoway, and two brothers, Floyd and Frank Gassoway.

Mrs. Anna Brunskog Gassoway, 45, died at her home at 1110 South Third street about 10 o'clock Sunday morning as the result of a nervous collapse following the burial of her husband, Fred K. Gassoway, last week. Mr. Gassoway died in a United States veterans hospital at Hines, Ill. June 4 and his funeral was held at the national cemetery at Fayetteville last Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Gassoway collapsed shortly after returning to her home from the funeral. Funeral services were held from the home at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon and burial was in the Bentonville cemetery with A.D. Callison in charge of arrangements. Members of the Rogers American Legion post served as pall bearers. Mrs. Gassoway is survived by two small children and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl L. Brunskog, 322 West Oak street.
