Jennie M Thompson was born in May 1874 in Arkansas. She married Eli Benjamin Allen in 1893. They had seven children in 17 years. She died on May 5, 1931, at the age of 57.

Mrs. Jennie Mae Allen died Tuesday, May 5, at 10 p.m. in an ambulance just below Arkadelphia enroute from Commerce, Texas to the home of her son, E. L. Allen, Searcy.
Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, Ben Allen, England, Ark.; several children, Mrs. Nellie Walls, Searcy, Mrs. Orphie Bevill, McRae, Miss Velda Allen, Searcy, Homer Allen, Beebe, E. L. Allen, Searcy, Oathy Allen, England; several brothers and sisters, Mrs. Sallie Short, Stuttgart, Mrs. Luella Howland, Garner, Minnie Smith, Shawnee, Okla.; Bill Thompson, Fort Worth, Texas.
Funeral services will be held at the home of Home Allen, Beebe, Ark., Thursday, May 7th, 1 p .m. in charge of Rev. James Talkington., assisted by Rev. J. I. Cossey, Searcy. Burial will follow in the Antioch cemetery.
