Buynetta 'Jean' Jean Whitfield, 73, Mountain View entered into rest May 28, 2006 in Mountain View.
She was born October 21, 1932 in Mountain View to Garland and Floy Mae (Barnes) Green.
She was a homemaker and member of Vine Avenue Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, James R. 'Jim' Whitfield, three grandchildren; Deloris McNely, Melissa Fredrick, and Christopher Brewer; four great-grandchildren; three sisters, June Branscum of Clinton, Mablean Cook of Calico Rock and Garlean Jason of Fifty Six and many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Kathy Brewer, a granddaughter, Nicole Brewer, three brothers; J.D. Green, L.C. Green, and J.R. Green.
Visitation is 6 - 8 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2006 Roller Crouch Chapel in Mtn. View.
Funeral service is 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at Roller Crouch Chapel in Mtn. View with Jeff Sumrall officiating and interment in Flatwoods Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Clint Jason, Derrick Cook, Blake Whitfield, James Whitfield, Lindell Storey, and James Storey.
