Sarah L. Rowe, 98, of Warren died June 4, 1998 at Wagnon Place Nursing Home at Warren. She was born on August 24, 1899 at Louisville, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Robert F. Baker and Della Ann Thompson Baker. She was a retired manager's secretary for Southwestern Bell Telephone, with 39 years of service at Hot Springs. She was a member of First United Methodist Church at Warren, the Seekers Sunday School Class, Circle No. 2 DMA and the Telephone Pioneers of America.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rupert Rowe, who died on August 24, 1983.
Survivors include a niece with whom she lived, Sara Sharpe of Warren.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Oakland Cemetery at Warren with the Rev. Bill Leslie officiating.
