HOLLAND, Dorsie - Funeral services were held for Dorsie Holland who died at his home near Healing Springs on Wednesday night, April the 20th, 1927, at the Thornsberry church on Wednesday afternoon, the Rev. Mr. Sherman officiating. Interment was made in the Thornsberry cemetery. Dorsie is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.M. Holland and one brother, Lee, and many other relatives and friends, to mourn his death. He was born at Healing Springs, Ark. July 29th, 1906 and was 20 years, eight months and 21 days old. He had been an invalid since about four months of age, has spent a life of suffering and pain. Death has been a relief to all his suffering, grieve not for Dorsie, for he passed on to the Blessed where there is no sorrow nor pain. AFriend.
