John A. Meyers, 83, of 339 Fairview Rd., died Tuesday at his home. He was a retired cafe owner and operator. He came to Camden 33 years ago and was a member of the Fairview Methodist Church and a Mason. Survivors include his wife, Jessie Potter Myers, a son, Cecil Myers of Fayetteville; a brother Elmore Meyers of Muskogee, Oklahoma; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Fairview Methodist Church. Burial will be in Bluff City Cemetery with the Masons in charge. Proctor Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
