HINDSVILLE — Kenneth T. Scott, 81, of Hindsville, formerly a longtime resident of Springdale, died March 4, 2011, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born July 11, 1929, in Stigler, Okla., to Eulis Lester and Gertie Davis Scott.

Kenneth was a retired truck driver for Tyson Foods and a retired USDA inspector. He was a United States Marine Veteran serving during WWII and Korea.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Edna Davis Scott, a brother, G.R. Scott and sister, Carol Sandovol.

He is survived by four sons; Mike Scott and wife Jane of Hindsville, Dan Scott of Springdale, Rick Scott and wife Linda of Fayetteville and Rudy Scott of Fayetteville, sister, Janice Anglin and husband Jack of Lowell. Nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 8, 2011, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

FAYETTEVILLE - Edna Mae Scott, 75, of Fayetteville died Dec. 23, 2007, at Circle of Life Hospice. She was born Dec. 27, 1931, in Anadarko, Okla., to George A. and Marie B. Farrar Davis. She was owner and operator of the Beauty Box in Springdale until her retirement in 1992.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth T. Scott of the home to whom she was married Feb. 12, 1950; four sons, Mike Scott and wife Jane of Hindsville, Dan Scott of Springdale, Rick Scott and wife Linda and Rudy Scott, all of Fayetteville; three sisters, Loretta Lightner of Purcell, Mo., Mildred Leach of Sand Springs, Okla., Bonnie Moore of Garfield; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sisco Funeral Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. Jack Anglin officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. today with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Michael Scott, Mark Scott, Rick Scott, Jake Scott, Keven Lightner, Corey Anglin and Jason Welch.
