Sharon Tjader, 51-year-old resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, died Friday, January 6, 2006, at her home. Born July 2, 1954 in Waukegan, Illinois, she was the daughter of Marvin Walters and Shirley Jones Walters. Sharon had lived in Siloam since August of 2000, moving here from Illinois. She worked at Decatur State Bank and was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Lowell. Sharon married Douglas Brent Tjader in Zion, Illinois, August 14, 1976. Survivors include her husband Douglas Tjader of the home; 3 daughters, Jennifer Castaneda and her husband Jaime of Lowell, Arkansas; Lisa Tjader of Libertyville, Illinois; Andrea Van Auken and husband Brian of Springdale, Arkansas; 1 granddaughter, Megan Castaneda of Lowell; her mother, Shirley Walters of Waukegan, Illinois; 1 sister, Linda Birky of Waukegan; 2 brothers, Jeff Walters and Russell Walters both of Zion, Illinois.

SILOAM SPRINGS — Sharon Tjader, 51, of Siloam Springs died Jan. 6, 2006, at her home. She was born July 2, 1954 in Waukegan, Ill., to Marvin Walters and Shirley Jones Walters. She lived in Siloam Springs since August 2000, moving from Illinois. She worked at Decatur State Bank and was a member of Fellowship Bible Church in Lowell. She married Douglas Brent Tjader in Zion, Ill., on Aug. 14, 1976.
Survivors include her husband of the home; three daughters, Jennifer Castaneda and husband Jaime of Lowell, Lisa Tjader of Libertyville, Ill., Andrea Van Auken and husband Brian of Springdale; her mother of Waukegan; a sister, Linda Birky of Waukegan; two brothers, Jeff Walters and Russell Walters, both of Zion; a granddaughter.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wasson Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Steve Galloway officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, online at www.wassonfuneralhome.com.
