Stella Vaughn was the daughter of John Owen Hare and Alice Gertrude Turner. She was born on 7/31/1911 in Melbourne.
Her first husband was Cecil Ray Lawrence with who she married in Melbourne, Arkansas. He is buried at the Gum Springs Cemetery, Webber Falls/Porum, Muskogee County, Oklahoma. The marriage between Cecil and Stella was short-lived and no children were born to that relationship.
Her husband was Raymond Vaughn who she married in 1/25/1930 in Melbourne, Izard County, Arkansas. Raymond would later become the Sheriff of Izard County and retired from that position in 1973. They were married until their deaths.
She was a member if the Melbourne First Baptist Church where her services were held on 11/25/91. The Rev. Doyne Robertson officiated.
Stella died in Batesville, Arkansas.
