Jamie Irene Coleman Clay, age 70, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2005. She was born March 5, 1935 in Romance, Arkansas to Robert and Myrtle Coleman. Jamie was a graduate of Rose Bud High School Class of 1953, where she was involved in many school activities. Her class still maintains a close relationship. Jamie was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ and a current member of Westside Church of Christ. She loved her family and life and was a wonderful wife and mother. She enriched the lives of those she touched. She was a gift from God and will be deeply missed. Jamie worked for the Internal Revenue Office in Searcy and retired from Davis Furniture Store in 1985. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth M. Clay, Sr.; one son Jeffery Coleman Clay and wife Amy of Searcy, Arkansas; one stepson Kenneth Clay, Jr. and wife Pamela of Emory, Texas; one stepdaughter Kristi Feigl and husband Doug of Dallas, Texas; five step grandchildren Chad, Eric, Spence, Cole and Kennedi; two brothers Kenneth "Sprout" Coleman and wife Shirley and James Coleman; two sisters Bobbie Elkins and husband Bob and Margaret Davis and husband Richard, all of Searcy; two nieces Sherry Davis Charles and Vickie Davis Raff; five nephews Kenny, Nicky, Tracy, Monty and Jason Coleman and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Robert and Myrtle Coleman and one brother Alton R. "Bo" Coleman. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 10, 2005, 2:00 p.m. at Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel with interment immediately following at Romance Cemetery in Romance, Arkansas.
