Virgie L Gossett, 79, of Booneville passed away Thursday, Dec 18, 2008, in Booneville. She was born Nov 5, 1929, in the Shiloh community between Mansfield and Hartford to G W and Annie (Newman) Holmes.
She was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church in Booneville, where she played the piano for many years. She enjoyed her family and fishing.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Gossett of the home; three sons, Jim Gossett and wife, Debbie of Greenwood, Eddie Gossett and wife, Judy of Booneville, and Aaron Wayne Gossett and wife, Bonnie of Hattieville; seven grandchildren Andrea Reed, Kelly Crisp, Jarod Gossett, Tim Gossett, Joshua Gossett, Alex Gossett and Dallas Wayne Gossett; one great-grandchild, Andrew Reed; and other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will grandsons, Brian Reed and Jarod, Tim, Joshua, Alex and Dallas Wayne Gossett.
