James N Wisley

James Newton Wisley, age 77 died in a Fort Smith hospital Wednesday afternoon, shortly after having been removed there from his home in Booneville.

Mr Wisley, one of the leading citizens and farmers of the Logan Hall neighborhood until his health broke down some three years ago, had been living in Booneville for several months.

He was a good citizen, an appreciative friend, and a worthy father to his family.

He is survived by three sons, Frank Wisley, Claud Wisley and Lester Wisley, all of near Booneville; four daughters, Mrs Jo Etta Carolan, Sanatorium postmistress, State Sanatorium; Mrs Della Wallace, Omaha, Nebraska; Mrs. Cauthron, Little Rock; Mrs Marie Gussie Hecklethorn, Fort Smith; and one brother, Granville Wisley.
