Evelyn Marie Wardlaw, age 65, of Wilmar, AR died Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Monticello Health Care. She was born March 17, 1944 in Warren, AR, a daughter of the late R. E. Loomis and Mildred Joiner Loomis Acord. She was a retired data entry operator for Sears and a member Fountain of Life Christian Center. Surviving is her husband, James Donald Wardlaw; 4 brothers of Houston, TX - Robert Edward Loomis, James Everette Loomis, Joe Michael Loomis and Donald Gordon Acord; 2 sisters Susan Carter of Wilmar, AR and Deborah Scroggins of Monticello, AR. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Phyllis Acord Woolford. Funeral services were 2pm Thursday, August 6, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Larry Doggett officiating. Soloist was Kelly Doggett. Organist was Linda Barrett. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Steven Woodard, Ben Daniel, Mancy Daniel, Brandon Baker, Nicholas Acord and Jonathan Acord. Honorary pallbearers were Sam Carter, Tommy Burns, Bobby Hays and Frank Scroggins.
