W.C. "Bill" Neighbors, 80, of Chester died Tuesday, Oct. 28, 2008, in Fort Smith. He was born to Oscar and Jetta Neighbors on Jan. 12, 1928, in Uniontown. He was a retired insurance agent for Farmers Insurance, he served in the Navy and was a member of Cedarville First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Neighbors, and a son, Ronnie Neighbors.
He is survived by three daughters, Renee Chastain of Chester, Michelle Crane of Greenwood and Linda Brisbee of Rogers; four sons, Jack Davis of Sweetwater, Texas, Mark Neighbors of Bentonville, Dale Neighbors of Tyler, Texas, and Jim Neighbors of Fayetteville; as well as 15 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, at First Baptist Church in Cedarville with burial at Hall Cemetery under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Chris Knubley, Michael Carr, Bobby Heckard, Matt Davis, Jamie Marion and Jared Nutter.
