Wincille Chappell Bonner Barnes
FAYETTEVILLE — Wincille Chappell Bonner Barnes, 82, of Fayetteville, died Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2011, at Springdale.
She was born March 9, 1929, in Durham, the daughter of John Clint and Anna Roland Chappell. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Bonner and Herschel Barnes.
She was an employee of the University of Arkansas, retiring after 22 years and the Clarion Inn after 15 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Barnes and Sherry Jean Sti11, both of Fayetteville; three sons, Paul Bonner of Wesley, Donald Bonner of Fayetteville and David Bonner of Oklahoma; a sister, Lucille Van Winkle of Grand Terrace, Calif.; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at McCord Cemetery, under the direction of Moore's Chapel. Officiating will be the Rev. Eric Howerton.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. today at Moore's Chapel.
