Carmen E. Calvert Castleberry, age 92, of Brownstown Township, MI., died Wednesday July 4, in Wyandotte, MI. Born October 18, 1914 in Warren, AR. a daughter of the late William Richard Calvert and Winnieford Christine Spiegal Calvert she was a homemaker, a Baptist and the widow of Noel Edward Castleberry who died March 2, 1972. They were united in marriage October 31, 1931. Also, preceding her in death were brothers Louie Calvert, Dee Calvert, Lorton Calvert, Harry Calvert, Carvilla Calvert, sisters Francis Brown, Freda Poole, Gerald Parker, Ester Shrum and Victoria Calvert. Survivors are 2 sons Edward Castleberry and spouse Jane of Brownstown Township, MI., Noel Meredith Castleberry and spouse Amanda of Pickerington, OH. 1 grandson Mark S. Castleberry and spouse Alicia of Pickerington, OH. and 1 great-granddaughter Jessica Nicole Castleberry and many nieces and nephews. F Linda Barrett was organist and soloist were Marlin Raines and Donna Raines. Active pallbearers were Howard Calvert, Delbert Calvert, J.D. Neely, John Parrott, Andy Briant and Alton J. Forrest. Honorary pallbearers were Royce Poole, Richard Poole, Jimmy Poole and Edward Calvert.
