Hallie Marie Fell Raney, age 86, of Warren, Arkansas died Saturday, October 21, at Jefferson Regional Medical Center. She was born March 11, 1920 in McGehee, Arkansas a daughter of the late George Washington Fell and Elvia Bass Fell. She was a homemaker and a member of the Southside Baptist Church. She was married to George Henry Raney for 49 years and he died March 15, 1986. Surviving are 3 sons Edward Raney, Monticello, Ark, Randall Raney and George F. Raney both of Warren, Ark; 6 daughters Melinda Raney, Arlington, Tex, Patricia Cox, Ferndale, Ark, Eva Huitt, Monticello, Ark, Marie Nutt, Jene Rice and Mae Pennington all of Warren, Ark; 1 brother Earl Fell, Irving, Tex; 3 sisters Eva Fincher, Monticello, Ark, Maggie Leible, Kauffman, Tex. and Martha Robinson, San Antonio, Tex; 28 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and 19 great great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son Randy Raney; 2 daughters Magdalene McKinney and Norma Lea Raney; 5 brothers Robert Fell, George Raymond Fell, Floyd Franklin Fell, Lymon Lee Fell and Grant McKinley Fell and 2 sisters Irene Tomlinson and Gladys Howard. Funeral services were 2:00pm Tuesday, October 24, at Frazer’s Chapel with Rev. Mike Griffith and Rev. Tom Williams officiating. Janice Sullivan was organist and soloist was Melinda Ashcraft. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery by Frazer’s Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Daniel Slaughter, Freddy Smith, Michael Raney, Shawn Raney, Glen Waters, Justin Clay, Jimmy Clark and John David Clark. Honorary pallbearers were Tommy McLemore, Roy Harper, James Rolland and Jeff Northcutt.
