Mrs. Ruth M. Cox, age 101 of Mountain Home, passed away Thursday, November 1, 2012 in Gassville. Mrs. Cox was born August 8, 1911 in Mountain Home to Willie and Martha (Burdine) White. She was a homemaker, and the wife of the late William Franklin Cox. She was a member of the Highway 178 Church of Christ.
Survivors include 3 sons, Dale (Linda) Cox of Mountain Home, Gene (Jewell) Cox of Gassville, Lee Roy (Fern) Cox of Mountain Home, a daughter, LaVern (Jim) Cantrell of Mountain Home, 20 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 brothers, 1 sister, 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at the East Oakland Cemetery in Mountain Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home.
