Julia Maxine Hite
COVE CREEK — Julia Maxine Hite, 94, of the Cove Creek community near Prairie Grove died Oct. 27, 2008, in Springdale. She was born June 23, 1914, near Stillwater, Okla., to George Granville and Bessie Florance Pennington Ripley.
She held a doctorate and taught in many area schools.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Hite.
Survivors include her sister, Ruth Johnson of Idaho; five nephews, Jeff Struble, Bobby Garringer, Floyd Garringer, Danny Garringer and Charles Smith; her niece, Ruby Mae Kelley.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Cove Creek Holiness Church with Bobby Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Garrett Creek Cemetery.
