MRS. FLORENCE YATES OF BENTONVILLE DEAD
Mrs. Florence M. Yates, wife of F.M. Yates of the Quality Shoe Shop, Bentonville, died at the family home Thursday, Jan. 18, 1934, at the age of 40 years. She had been ill for a year or more.
Funeral services were held at the Christian Church Friday afternoon, the Rev. Harry L. Barr, the pastor, conducting the services. Burial was made in the Bentonville cemetery.
Mrs. Yates was born in Bass, Newton County, Arkansas, in 1890. Following her marriage to Mr. Yates they lived for a while in Russellville, later moving to Rogers and to Bentonville a few years ago.
Besides her husband and parents she is survived by six daughters; Mrs. Charles Griffith and the Misses Norma, Mary, Flora and Patsy Jean all of Bentonville and Mrs. Harry Woodruff of Little Rock; also by a son A.J. Yates, and four sisters and a brother
