*Obituary: Carrie R. Yakley, 95, of Van Buren died Tuesday, September 8, 1992, in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of Freewill Baptist Church. She was the widow of Herman M. Yakley Sr. Funeral will be 10 a.m. September 11, 1992, in Ocker Memorial Chapel with burial at Gill Cemetery.
She is survived by seven daughters, Lorene Helm, Lora Peters, Flora Mae Neidecker, Betty Stockton, Audry Moses and Patricia Knox, all of Van Buren, and Zelma Brisco of Fort Smith; a son, Clyde of Van Buren; a sister, Clara (Wood) Smith of Alma; 30 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and 15 great-great-granchildren.

*Obituary: Funeral services for Herman Yakley, 89, of Van Buren, will be held this afternoon (Thursday) at 2:00 p.m. in the Ocker Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Gill Cemetery.
Mr. Yakley, who died Monday, May 27, 1985, in a Van Buren hospital, was a retired farmer, a member of the Catcher Freewill Baptist Church, and a lifelong resident of Crawford County.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie; six daughters, Lorene Helm, Loral Peters, Flora Mae Neidecker, Betty Stockton, Audrey Moses and Patricia Knox, all of Van Buren, and Zelma Brisco, of Fort Smith; two sons, Clyde and Herman, both of Kibler; a sister, Liza Caviness, of Harrison; thirty-one grandchildren; forty-eight great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
