Clifford - August 15, 1896 - October 17, 1972
Jessie - February 15, 1917 - June 8, 1980
Clifford Carl Clopton, Sr., 76, died today in Ouachita Hospital. He lived at 930 Garland and was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jessie Hendrick Clopton; one son, Clifford C. Clopton, Jr., of the Army; and a sister, Mrs. Loraine Wood of San Antonio, Tex. Funeral services will be held at Proctor's Chapel, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. The time will be announced by Proctor's. (Camden News - October 17, 1972)
