Visitation for Georgia H. Rice of Mountain Home will be from 5-8 p.m. Saturday at Kirby Funeral Home. Mrs Rice died Wednesday (Nov. 8, 1989) at Pine Lane Nursing Home. She was 89.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Kirby Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Kirby’s Tucker Memorial Cemetery.
Survivors include one daughter, Gaye Dean Stewart of Bull Shoals; two sisters, Clayte Lovelady of Magnum, Okla., and Kathryn Wingo of Granite, Okla.; two grandsons,; one granddaughter; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, three sisters, three brothers and one great-granddaughter.
A retired weaver in the garment industry, Mrs Rice was formerly of Altadena, Calif., moving here in 1988. She was born Jan 5, 1900 at Caddo County, Texas, to the late George and Martha Lewis Blocker. She was Methodist.
