Born in Stone County, Arkansas and died in Batesville, Independence County, Arkansas
Lula was a daughter to James Henry and Avey Morrow Martin. She died in Batesville. She and James Martin were married 24 April 1933 in Stone Co, Arkansas. They parented four children; one daughter and three sons survived her. Two sisters, Beulah Tilley and Ora Marshall, also survived her. The funeral services were held in the Round Mountain Church at Big Flat and under the direction of the Coffman Funeral Home. Her obituary in more detail was published April 04, 1987 by the Mountain Wave Newspaper.
