Nat Sawyer, aged 87, pioneer Ouachita county citizen, died at his home in Stephens Wednesday noon. He had resided at Stephens for many years. He is survived by two sons, Perry of Texarkana, Texas; Alton of Belcher, La.; two daughters; Mrs. Ella Dixon, and Mrs. Clyde Wesson, both of Stephens; and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the First Methodist Church by the Rev. M. E. Scott of Fairview, assisted by the Rev. Hugh Cantrell of Stephens. Burial was in Mount Prospect cemetery.
