Julia Berry Dies; Lifetime Resident
Mrs. Julia Peel Berry, 79; resident of 160 East Meadow Street, died at her home Saturday. A lifetime resident of Fayetteville, she was born here January 19, 1882, the daughter of Elias and Narcissus Peel, was a domestic worker for many years, and a member of St. James Methodist Church.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Irene Walton, Fayetteville, and Mrs. Bervice Bettis, Kansas City, Mo.; one brother, Albert Peel, Little Rock; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Tuesday at St. James Methodist Church by the Rev. A. L. Buchanan. Burial will be in Oak cemetery under the direction of Nelson's Funeral Home.
